Happy Saturday - What are 10 things you love about yourself

Happy Saturday everybody! It's been a really great day of being home all day long with the exception of my run this morning and taking Mavs with me to go and get iced coffee. He always gets such a kick out of the words "Go for ride?" He will sprint to the back door with all his might and jump for the leash until it's fastened around his neck lol we had a good day together. Sweaty footage of coming back inside after 8 miles today which included great paces on my threshold training! 

It has been a great day together while Matt works and it's been extra cozy too with it raining and having so much cloud coverage. I finally finished the third installment of the Housemaid series by Freida McFadden and absolutely cannot recommend it enough! I overlooked the fact that there is a 4th book called The Housemaids wedding and it's coming in the mail tomorrow so I need to read that ASAP! My goal for 2025 is to finish all of FM books lol

Before I go into todays quick topic, has anybody been to Luv Carwash in Green Cove today? It's their grand opening and you can get a free car wash or scan a QR code to use at a later date. I chose that one since it was raining and mother nature was cool to wash the layer of pollen off of my Hylander. Even though it stays parked in the garage (surrounded by gym equipment) it still manages to get so effing dirty when I have to commute to work. Sitting outside at work with all the pollen in the air, turns that lovely white a dim shade of yellow. I definitely didn't think about that last year when I upgraded my car. If you've been to my house, you know how much space that big honking thing takes up and if Matt needs to use his Hyrox equipment I have to park in the street, or he works around my own work schedule when I'm gone lol

Ok, what are 10 things I love about myself (at the moment) Is it bad that it's really hard coming up with TEN things that I love about myself? Let's give it a try..

1. I try hard and never give up 

2. I always look for the good in others first, unless my gut tells me you're inherently very bad then nah lol 

3. Sense of humor

4. I am fair

7. Faithful in many aspects

8. Forgiving

9. Optimistic

10. Curious

I had to think on that, and I'm thinking about every realm in life with work, friendships/relationships etc.

OMG you guys, my little cousin had her Sweet 16 today and I had to go back and check out the pictures of me holding her when she was just a baby. Don't judge me for the overalls lol but WOW! Looking at these pictures makes me miss my dark hair! 

I've been highlighting my hair for nearly 13 years and I'm fighting the urge to go back to having dark hair. I felt that tug recently when I saw a beautiful fair skinned, very dark-haired lady in Publix yesterday. She had blue eyes too like mine and she was dressed to the nines in her red lipstick and red dress. Should I give in? Should I rebel against the natural cycle of lightening the hair just in time for summer in Florida? IDK....I'm getting my roots colored on Thursday so maybe I'll have made my mind up by then lol stay tuned and if any major changes happen, you know I'll be dropping some pics!

Afternoon coffee tomorrow? I'm craving an hour or two at Springs to get some more chapters in of The Locked Door. Yes.....it's another Freida that I'm trying to consume before the weekends end which is very quickly approaching!
