What have I learned this week?
Two days of blogging in a row? Who is this? I made a last-minute change to my schedule and decided to work from home today, so Mavs is very happy that he's not by himself for a second day in a row. Here we are on our afternoon coffee run. He sits on a beach towel when he's riding shotgun! It protects the seat from when I'm sharing food with him lol so spoiled :)
I mistakenly woke up before Matts work alarm today which was out of character, but instead of falling back to sleep I decided to just get up and do some reading before my morning run. Life needs more hours in the day so that I can read all the books and run all the miles before work. It was also nice and chilly this morning which was a welcomed change of pace from the summer temps. The rain last night was nice which brought in the cool temps which made the run even more enjoyable.
What is everyone up to today? As I'm finishing this draft up I'm getting close to logging off the work station for the day. All that stands between me and more reading before dinner is a call with my assistant supervisor, and she needs to hurry up lol
Let's mix things up today and do a hot take before the actual topic.
Todays Hot Take: How often should you update your profile pictures to your social media profiles? I noticed that my Pinterest profile pic is an ancient seven years old, so I'll be changing that at some point. My Facebook and Instagram stay pretty current, but I guess I hadn't even realized that the picture I had on my page was from the cruise that Matt and I took in the summer of 2017. Time for an upgrade! Instead of a selfie today, how about a vote on a new profile pic for my Pinterest? :D
Both of these cropped would be super cute for Pinterest. IDK, there is something artsy and fun about them so comment or send a blurb to the email account on which one is better!
What have I learned this week? Well, two things: Pretending to be a travel agent is fun. And you can always tell what I'm up to apparently if you watch my Pinterest page lol My sister-in-law texted me asked me what we were going to be doing in Yellowstone..... so I had to update her on the rough itinerary we have so far and also show her some Airbnb options I was looking at. I'm an open book regardless, and my social media apparently doesn't let me keep secrets even if I wanted to keep any. Which is fine :) everything is public except for this blog so that's why we talk some smack here and laugh about the less serious things! Oh but speaking of smack.....there's truly only so much I can say on here. My coffee runs with my SIL will always be confidential and for that I'm thankful. I miss my bestie who lives on the other side of the world and having Ash nearby fills such a void in my heart.
Talk tomorrow you guys!
