Whacky Wednesdays


Today….has not been my day. Some mornings I can hop right out of bed filled with energy but today for some reason hasn’t been one of them. I’ll blame Matt lol he starts an off cycle today and he didn’t have an alarm set which left me on my own to set one for myself. It’s so easy getting up when he’s already awake but when he’s still sleeping I don’t want to get up. Call it peer pressure I guess but it sucks getting up when he’s softly snoring and enjoying sleep lol

Today’s training involved a double which I’m trying to make happen on Wednesday's. On any typical day I’d be at the track and working from home but today I had to be in campus to orient a new hire so I had to get creative. This morning started out with a weight session + HIIT training in the garage, and I saved the treadmill work (which involved running at a 15% incline for almost an hour 😳) for when I got home….not exactly what I wanted to do after a long day of work but hey, at least I nailed my macros today and had a very successful day of facilitating difficult discussions and leading a large project team collaboration. All of this treadmilling happened while an oven ready meatloaf roasted in the oven #superwomanissuperexausted

Shoutout to the best SIL ever who shares eggs and homemade bread! Best thing to come home to today after a crazy day!
