Weekend Recap
Happy Monday my friends!
I feel like the weekend as always, blows by way too quickly. Especially when it's spent taking care of leftover work items from Friday and also wrapping up the furniture project that I started last month. It's actually finished as of last night!
I am just waiting for a centerpiece item to arrive today and then I'll post the before and after transition to my Instagram. Here is a below shot from when I first got all of this delivered. I'm still so excited that I got to obtain this solid oak furniture that belonged to my Grannie! It's also very neat how this furniture lived so close by in Margarets Walk for so many years before it went to my cousins storage.....talk about a lucky save!
Saturday was honestly pretty stressful. I feel like last week was insane after only having 4 days of work and Friday, had three heads to it.....I literally do not know what was in the water but it.was.insanity! And with dinner reservations right at 5 in Ponte Vedra, I could not work a single second after 4 otherwise we would have been late. I hate being late lol I stress myself out so unnecessarily but that's just one of my quirks.
I worked for several hours on Saturday and resisted the urge to log in yesterday and instead finished up the furniture work after our long run. Let me show you guys some great shots from yesterdays long run! It was unusually cool for a first day in June but we enjoyed every second of it! We also had a much larger group yesterday which made the miles much more fun :)
Did anyone else feel the extra speed yesterday morning?? LOL It felt so amazing and Matt said it felt like 'springs last kiss goodbye' and that is oh so true.....I'll miss runs like yesterday morning because I know it's about to get HOT here in FLA!
