TTPD & Working From Home Days

You know when you're too busy to remember, or even care what day of the week it is? I'm to the point in my management journey where I'm almost bummed when I realize it's nearly Friday. I need more days in the week and more time in the day .... It’s one of those cold, overcast days where the sky never quite decides what it wants to do. No sunshine, no movement in the sky—just gray, quiet, and still. The kind of day that feels made for working from home. I logged 7 miles on the treadmill this morning since the morning was not only cold but also drizzling, no thanks. Treadmill miles are honest miles. There’s no scenery to distract you, no breeze to break it up, just you, your thoughts, and the steady rhythm of your feet. It’s not glamorous, but it gets the job done. And today, it felt good. Strong. Controlled. Purposeful. And yes I did have Bridgerton playing on my phone as a distraction because even though the show is cheesy as hell, I still love it. Now I’m settled into...

Sorry for the Hiatus

Without making this long and drawn out, I need to post this to a specific viewer.

AW, I can see you viewing my blog...thought you might wanna know.

A few months ago I started noticing that this blog was getting way more traffic than made sense. I only have a handful of friends who follow it, and they’re people I know in real life. So it didn’t make sense for it to have multiple views every day, and sometimes in clusters. Nothing I was posting was viral or public in that way. My page URL is also not on the Google domain, and I made sure to remove it for privacy reasons.

I decided to utilize the help of AI to install a tool on this site that shows a little more information about who's viewing my blogs. It still doesn’t tell you exactly who my readers are, but it shows things like whether the viewer is new or returning and where the network is coming from. And what I noticed is that the repeat traffic was coming from a specific corporate network off of Southside — the same one on specific days of the week, during business hours.

The timing of the views have been really patterned: At one point it was mainly Tuesdays and Thursdays, between about eight in the morning and five in the afternoon. Even now, the viewing stops on weekends and holidays and then picks back up the next week.

My metric tool shows the rough geographical location of where the viewing is coming from when it's apparently being used by your company's WiFi system. I’ve verified the location on multiple IP address sites.

I've got screenshots and data, and it's pretty compelling to see just how long you've been watching.

You seem extremely intent on keeping up with what I post on this semi-private page about my life and I’m not going to act like I don’t know why, but you're more than welcome to continue.

I'm an open book and I'm ok with you viewing anything that I post, even here. Please feel free to stay tuned for the running, reading and life content that you seem to enjoy watching so much.

Thanks everyone for sticking with me on this one. No beefs here, just a community of runners and book nerds 🤓

Matanzas recap up on Instagram later today!
